Radiative Cooling Film is a self-developed, electricity-free cooling solution designed for glass surfaces by i2Cool. The material applies the principle of passive radiative cooling technology. By radiating heat to outer space through efficient solar reflection and mid-infrared emission, it effectively reduces indoor temperatures while maintaining building aesthetics and natural daylight. This enables electricity-free cooling and helps reduce air-conditioning energy consumption.
Specially developed for commercial and industrial glass surfaces, our Radiative Cooling Film utilizes high-performance optical microfilms to manage the thermal spectrum. It functions through two primary mechanisms: reflecting solar radiation and emitting mid-infrared heat into the cold void of space. This dual-action process significantly reduces the reliance on air conditioning, blocking UV rays and thermal heat while preserving the building’s aesthetic and viewing clarity.
